Every year around this time of year I get the same cold. It starts out with slight burning in the back of my throat. Then the next day my throat burns! The day after it moves into my sinuses and there is a ton of pressure behind my ears. My nose is clogged too. Is this allergy related since it's and annual thing?

  1. jayo is correct,i am living proof.Your throat burns because of the post nasal drip irritating it..purchase some saline spray and benadryl. Also, steam helps loosen congestion fast!! Take a small pot and boil water, then put a towel over your head and breathe in the steam. Get better soon.

  2. Yes. Could be sinus pressure and mucus build up. I get the same thing. Sudafed does wonders for me.

  3. yes it can...could be from the seasons changing
