Could my cat still be pregant?

We have a very petite cat which was pregnant for the past six or more weeks. Naturally she's a slim cat. She got really big during her pregnancy, and we were worried that she may be overdue, but were pleasantly surprised to find her with 5 cute little kittens this morning at 6:30am (already clean and nursing). It is now 1pm and to me she still looks pregnant.

What could the chances be that she's still pregnant?

It might not be that she's still pregnant but that she just has baby fat now. Similar to human women, after they give birth to a child women don't just shrink back to their size before they were pregnant.

no shes not still pregnant... if she is a petite cat then her skin had to stretch alot to hold the five beautiful kittens in it. the same thing happens to humans it takes awhile before you stop looking pregnant. just give her time... i hope you like the kittens.

Rub your hand along her underside, you'll feel loose flesh towards her backside.  My cat was a tiny one too and their bellies just held 5 babies you know?  She'll shrink back in a couple of weeks.  If you're really worried, keep and eye on her for a day or too, but I think she's all set to take care of her fam!  Good luck!
