Could my dog have had twins?

Question

This might sound like a daft question but I am serious, My ***** has just given birth to 4 pups 2 of them seemed to share a placenta. Can dogs have twins or are they just sometimes like that. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanx x

yes they can!!!!!

my dads dog has twins and they looked just alike same marking and everything only difference is one was a girl and one was a boy lol

I think it could have been a defect? I doubt they were bred reponsibly.

Yes, it's possible for dogs to have twins. Both puppies would have been in 1 sac.
