Could my eyes actually be hazel?

Question

I had really dark brown eyes when i was little. I'm 17 now, and my eyes have gotten lighter. I read on a site (wiki i think?) that hazel can have a multicolored iris: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eye_color

When looking at my eye, it looks brown. But when in certain lighting, it's somewhat different. I took these two pics the other night. One is with no flash, and one with flash.

Could my eyes possibly be hazel?

yeah, dark hazel. mine are the same way, no light, there brown, with light, there green. its cooler then most peoples eyes, lol high 5.

you could possibly call them hazel. And even if you call them brown they are still the prettiest brown eyes i have seen yet. lol. because i usually dont see anything special about brown eyes but yours are pretty.

I would call those eyes light brown and very pretty.  Maybe you could say they are Caramel!  Amber is the colour on Wiki that I think they most resemble.  There doesnt appear to be any green in your eyes to make them hazel.  I always thought my eyes were hazel but thanks to your link I  see mine are definietly green.
