Could my foot be broken? (Details)

Well, today I jumped off my bed and landed on my foot wrong.. lol. Well it is very painful to walk, and I walk on the inside of my foot, because its the outside of my foot that hurts, by that little bump. I have a weird looking bruise and I think it's a little swollen. Could it be broken? Because I don't want to trouble my mom with a trip to the doctor for nothing.

Please go and see your doctor.  Even if it us not broken you have obviously injured it and should get it checked out.  Take care.  Hope you feel better soon.

i have that same thing! lol except i went to the doctors for it and they said it was only a sprain and it would heal after a week but its been more then a week and im going to the doctors today bc everyone thinks its broken and about how big of a bump is it?

well i think it is, with it swelling and bruising and pains yep Id go to the emergency room so they can do a xray..so go bother your mom.

In your case it would be impossible to tell if you have a fracture or if it is just sprained without an xray. Ice, 20 minutes on, 20 minutes off, elevation, try to stay off of it and see if you can't get an order for an xray from your doctor to avoid an ER fee.
