Could my pony be pregnant?

Hi. could any one help me please?. I recently got given a mare from an old bloke who said she was free to go to a good home as she hasn't foaled for him for 3 years. shes already had 5 foals, bless her.

She was used at a farm as a broodmare for 9 years and their is a stallion on the farm

He gave her to me and said she was not in foal, however today i was cleaning her belly when i noticed wax and milk dripping.she is very skinny but has a big round belly. could she be in foal? i have already rang the vet and he is coming to see her

Yes i think so. Or she might have a tumor so be careful and treat her right.

possibly but she might have just gotten in to something but what i recommend is that you never take a free horse and if its free it usually has problems so she could possibly be pregnant

it could be same thing happened to me except it was a donkey and not a mare well good luck and you did good by calling the vet
