Question:

Could my sister have a mental illness???

She thinks that she is actually in the Matrix. As in, her life is a dream and she is the only real one in it.

My parents don't know if it's because she has been thinking about this too much, or if it is a mental illness or something associated with a mental illness.

What do you think???

  1. Go here:

    That could be it

  2. if you're not sure about that then try to get her some help to see a professional doctor for that.

  3. Sounds like she's delusional, you should take her to a doctor for a checkup.

  4. How old is she? If she is 11 or younger she may just be really creative and has a big imagination she will out grow it or just lose interest and forget about it. When I was younger I was convinced I was trapped in a really long dream and I might wake up any moment. I thought this for several months. I knew several little girls Who saw the movie "The Craft" and then were all convinced they had magical powers. This is pretty normal with young girls.

If she is older It certainly isn't good but it doesn't sound like schizophrenia. unless she is hearing voices and/or thinks bad thing are happening to her somehow because of this

actually the girls  i knew who believed they had magic powers were probably about 12 or 13. I think she is a bit immature but she is fine.

check this girl out, she is 13 and thinks she is a mermaid
