I have a very compact baby stroller and there is no 'built in' way to tie it down in the back of my Forrester (Subaru). I am not sure the best way to secure it to prevent it from being dislodged during a car accident.

  1. put it under the seat

  2. ANYTHING lying loose in a vehicle becomes a missile in event of a sudden stop or hard braking.    In the rear of a wagon type vehicle,  look into putting tie downs in place,   bungie cords may be an option,   and always make the effort place items as far forward as possible to restrict movement against the back of the seat immediately in front.    With heavier items,  this also keeps the specific gravity of the vehicle correct,   making safer driving and keeping your headlights down out of others eyes.

  3. anything riding in back of any SUV or wagon can be thrown forward to the front of the vehicle during hard braking or a accident!

there are cargo area dividers kind of like a cage after the last seat and before the cargo area...

  4. You can have small eye hole hooks installed in the rear that you can tie down the stroller using quick release motorcycle tie downs....
