Could pee be an alternative fuel source?

me and my friend were talkin about this (one of them really had to go =]) and im woundering if pee can be used as an alternative fuel source?

also, what other weird stuff could be used? i heard one guy used leftover oils and stuff from a nearby chinese restaurant to fuel his car. lol i bet that exhast smelled good.

I don't think so cause if pee was a source then they could've used Ocean/Salt Water long time ago. However, the only options for a better environment and no cost on fuel is Back to the old days, Ride horses!

Haha... I am not sure how the pee would go in the petrol tank..... Feel free to try it and let me know how it goes!!

I am with you though - I am all for finding cheaper and more environmentally friendly ways for fuel.

After hours and hours of research I actually finally came across a product that actually allows you to convert water to use fuel. It sounds a bit far fetched but it actually works! No pee is a good fertilizer though.

Solid animal excreta (****) can be used to make biogas which is a good fuel.

Many poor countries use Gobar (cow ****) gas plants to make biogas which is used as cooking fuel.

I'm sure if you could extract enough of a substance and use that as fuel, you could use it, but I don't think there's anything in pee that you could burn (or not enough to move a car).

But yeah, with the oil from the Chinese restaurant, you still use some regular gas to heat up your car (the oil from the restaurant hardens when it gets cold), but then you can drive using the oil - and yes, the exhaust does smell good.

well if you pee a flamable liquid, then sure, why not?

pee is like 90% water, the rest, toxins.  It wont burn, and it doesnt store any energy.
