Could people change for the earths health?

The mighty doller runs the govenment &they dont seem to care what happens to the earth or future genarations !

I think people can change, but people generally change relatively slowly unless there's a catastrophe that precipitates fundamental change. Some people in the US thought hurricane Katrina may be a wake-up call (and the Asia tsunami, which scientists think may have been intensified some by factors resulting from global warming), but it was quickly forgotten.

Unless people are directly affected, they will not change - we're all inertia-prone...

Could change ... yes.

Will change ... not until it starts costing people their own money.  The government's money is an intangible as far as most people are concerned.
