Could pregnancy be so soon??

Hello everyone! I had a mc in early june, and went on to have laparscopy done in the middle of july. I have had two periods since my mc. But today 5-6 days before my next period is due i took two(different brands) test, and both have a very faint line. Could i be prego this soon, only three weeks past my surgery and is it normal to show up on a test this soon? Thanks

My SIL had that surgery done, too and she got pregnant the next month. I think it was 6 weeks later, but it's very possible! Test again in the morning! God luck!

well, first of all, yes a test can read positive that soon. I was 3 weeks when I found out I was pregnant, more like 2 1/2. The lines were very very faint but there, and a doc verified it. However, I also took some tests not too long ago and got one very faint positive and about 6 negatives (i wasn't convinced the first 5 times!) I would go to the doc to make sure. But, if it was me and I took 2 tests at different times and different brands and it said positive..... id be on the phone right now calling the doc for the first available appt cuz it sounds like your pregnant!

sometimes u can get a positive test 1 month after the procedure cuz the hormones may not be back normal yet.. when i m/c it took a month b4 I finally got a neg test.
