That's kind of a broad question, seeing as how quantum mechanics describes an entire field of science.  If there is something that prevents closed timelike curves, it will probably fall into the realm of quantum mechanics, since general relativity is what gave rise to CTCs in the first place.  At the moment, though, I can't think of any particular quantum mechanical principle that would prevent CTCs.
