  2. Your child and your child friends will come up with their own nicknames for Stephanie and I can tell you right now your daughter will NOT want savvy!

  3. no. savvy's short for savannah.

  4. i called one of my litle ones stephanie...and we call her 'steffi' for short, and ppl love it..and they enquire about it.... :)

  5. no - there is no V in stephanie. try Steph, Stephie, Anie/Annie.

  6. It doesn't seem to have a connection with the name Stephany.. she could be ''f***y'' or Steffie.. Stephie...

  7. i know a Stephanie and we call her Stevie

  8. savvy mean you understand or you have knowledge or common sense.  i understand you mean it as a name but its NOT a name

  9. not really

  10. what about stephy

  11. I'm just afraid people woul laugh at her if they found out the meaning of savvy. N make her make agreements or deals with them...lawl

  12. I know of one person with the nickname Savvy, but their name is Savannah. I think that it would make more sense with Savannah than Stephanie.

  13. cant u just do steph, stephy?

  14. Its not one of the nicknames people generally use for Stephanie, but you can nickname yourself whatever you want. :)

  15. Sure it could.

But I think the kid should pick her own nickname. Nicknames are more meaningful when they're picked with friends, maybe as an inside joke or something. I think "Stephy" or "Steph" would be a good nickname for Stephanie, but those are typical and a lot of more unique names are being used lately..

  16. Savvy's a nickname for a person who is wise and competent - it has nothing to do with a person's actual name. Calling a small child "Savvy" would be downright odd.

  17. savvy means like to make a deal, an agreement- .... no i dont think it could, but..... if its you and your friends calling another friend something-  you can call em anything.
