I know of one person with the nickname Savvy, but their name is Savannah. I think that it would make more sense with Savannah than Stephanie.

Its not one of the nicknames people generally use for Stephanie, but you can nickname yourself whatever you want. :)

But I think the kid should pick her own nickname. Nicknames are more meaningful when they're picked with friends, maybe as an inside joke or something. I think "Stephy" or "Steph" would be a good nickname for Stephanie, but those are typical and a lot of more unique names are being used lately..

Savvy's a nickname for a person who is wise and competent - it has nothing to do with a person's actual name. Calling a small child "Savvy" would be downright odd.

savvy means like to make a deal, an agreement- .... no i dont think it could, but..... if its you and your friends calling another friend something-  you can call em anything.
