Could running out of Lexapro be why i am breaking down in tears for no reason?

  1. It's possible.  I'd suggest going to your doctor to get a new 'script for Lexapro and fill it as soon as you can.


  2. I dont think you would be affected by it THAT fast. Although you should get a refill immediatly to avoid withdrawal. I think that you just think in your mind that without taking them you are powerless, so its making you cry. good luck and get them back asap. if you cant go to a doctors office they will give you enough free samples to hold you over

  3. Yes....  Lexapro is a medication that, to get off of, you have to "wean" yourself off of it very carefully.  The withdrawal symptoms of Lexapro are very much not pleasant - I've been there, done that.



    You should call your doctor and get the prescription refilled... if you need to, your regular doctor can write a prescription Lexapro - if you are getting the prescription from a psychiatrist.

  4. I had problems like that when I stopped taking Lexapro. I agree that you should get some more as soon as possible and talk with your doctor about what's going on.
