  5. i don't know thats a strong word but then again they have strong opinions. i personally think they are hypecritical but they feel very strongly about inequality in this world.

  6. In the sense that you have to abandon your critical faculties and conform to a very narrow ideal - yes.

    In the sense that the rest of society rightly views you as a bunch of losers - yes.

    But "cult" has religious connotations, so it is imperfect.

  7. If a person has strong beliefs due to their own personal experience and discovery than it is not a cult. A cult implies one strong leader, a physical collective and active thought influencing techniques. Sounds much more like a church doesn't it?
