That's going to depend on where you're flying from!

I don't recommend cheaptickets.com or any of those websites.  I have always found a better deal directly on the airlines website.

1st - find out who offers the best flights.  Ie; direct flights avail from Houston on Continental, Atlanta on Delta, L.A. and Miami on Copa Airlines...

2nd - check that airlines' website DAILY.  Many times the best fares are flying on weekdays, returning on a weekday... this changes often!  While 2 weeks advance can be the best price, sometimes booking earlier than that is more expensive and there are also some deals that pop up when it gets down to the last 2-4 days before the flight leaves.

Sooo... once you check in that, if you are flexible with your travel, you will be able to find the rock bottom cheapest fare possible.
