Could some one help me i am trying to find a book i used to read in primary school?

Question

the book was about a dog called jacko that went missing and the owner was a boy who went out looking for him but fell down a hole and broke his arm in the end they found they dog inside a underground cave..

also another book i would like to find was a boy in school got put in a room to do his work and instead of doing his work he wrote a story about aliens . and from then on being in that room e see a ghost that seemed to follow him i cant remeber much more but please help me =)
