Simplify the following into the form ae^(bx) + ce^(dx):

7-e^x / e^(3x)

If possible/applicable, could you also please show me the process? Thank you.

  1. 7- (e^x/e^(3x))

    = {7[e^(3x)]- (e^x) }/(e^(3x) = 7 e^(0x) - 1 (e^ (-2x))

    so here a =7, b=0

    c= -1, d= -2

    good luck

  2. I think / symbol is below complete 7-e^x

    (7-e^x)/e^(3x)

    = 7/e^3x  -  e^x/e^3x

    = 7e^-3x - e^-2x

    This is in the form ae^(bx) + ce^(dx)

    where

    a=7, b=-3,c=-1,d=-2

  3. you may mean (7-e^x)/e^3x=

    7/e^3x-e^x/e^3x=

    7*e^(-3x)-e^(-2x)

    else it's just 7-e^(-2x)
