Could somebody give me tips to improve my bird rescue.

Question

I have a parrot rescue and I would like some tips to help promote it. I have some ads on some classified ad sites. I also wanted somebody to look at my website that does not know me and tell me what they think, I need some positive and negative feedback. Also I would like people to tell me what they want to see such as info about birds, more pictures, more or less about us, more happy ending stories..etc.

Hi there!

Well done, what an excellent thing to do! I love how you have info on individual birds that are up for adoption. In regards to that, I think you should make every effort to keep this information as current and as up to date as possible, in my experience if you don't change and update your website regularly people will stop visiting it.

I would love to see a pic of the whole set up, perhaps the main room where you keep your birds etc!

The only other pointer would be I think the text has too many full stops and is a bit to 'blocky', you could spread it out a bit more and get it to flow a little better when you are reading it.

Besides that I think it's a fantastic website and a fantastic service, and I hope you have much success.

It's great. I love it when you give a little tidbit on each bird. It gives the bird a sense of personality to people who do not appreciate our feathered friends.
