I'm heading to Rome on a Friday in February, arriving in the evening, and staying there for another 3 days. Could somebody help me plan my days there? What to do during the days, what to do in the afternoon and in the evening (since it gets dark early). Maybe a visit to the Vatican, a visit to the Trevi fountain, the colosseum... I'd really appreciate it your help.

  1. Go to the site www.romaturismo.it there is a section named Rome in 48/96 hours...good luck!bye

  2. I went to school there in 1978/1979.  I would go back just to see the cathedral ceilings again.  St. Agnese at Piazza Navona is elegant.  Santa Maria Della Quattro Fontani (not far from the Spanish Steps) is another example of brilliant use of small space.  Try not to miss Santa Maria Maggiore, Il Jesu, and so  many other beautiful churches, and of course St. Peter's.  Make plans to return for a longer stay to see more.

  3. Three days in Rome is not long vacation. There are so many things you can do within three days.

i recommend you to visit several cultural places day time

Colosseum, Trevi Fountain , Pantheon, Borghese Gallery, vatican city and many more to see.

evening there are lots of cafe and night life areas in Rome, you can enjoy it too

you can do some shopping while you visiting rome, there are  nice item to bring home from Rome..
