Question:

Could somebody please interpret this dream?

I was in my backyard and I found two cats inside my pool. My friends told me to save them. One was underwater and perfectly fine, not drowning at all. He could breathe under the water. The other one was drowning. So I went inside my pool and saved the one that was drowning, but it was hard to get through the water. I was in slow motion, but I eventually saved the cat, then I saved the other one. What does this mean?

  1. Most of the time, dreams are just dreams.

  2. When you see cats in dreams, they represent many things some of those things are that a husband is rough and harsh on his wife and children. Cats represent arguments, stealing and inability to keep promises.

On the other hand, cats also represent someone who talks soft and kind.

The pool you saw could represent a dignity and respect from a generous and clean man.

  3. There is a glitch in your dream. Abnormalities usually have implications beyond what is physically known.

A cat that can breathe underwater qualifies this dream as such.

The two cats represent a parallel between an immanent (what you know to be of your reality) condition and a transcendental one (beyond your scope of knowledge and understanding).

The pool was not a pool, per se, but your interpretation of an image.

That is why you could not swim easily in "it." Even though you thought it was a pool, it also had transcendental qualities.

The basic message here is that what you saw is not what it was.

The cats weren't cats; the pool wasn't a pool.

The "Cat" that was drowning was a form of deceit. In other words, it was not really drowning. If it was, you wouldn't have been able to save it in time because you were in slow motion. Instead, the drowning cat was an insidious intention to cause YOU to drown.

The "cat" that was not drowning, (which defied physical possibilities), represents some intuitive quality about yourself. You knew something was wrong in the contrast between the two cats. You should not have listened to your friend; he told you to jump in the name of deceit. The cat that could breathe "under water"--remember, this was not real water, nor a real pool, just a "trick"--was your wisdom telling you that nothing was wrong or drowning. In other words, this abnormal underwater cat was trying to tell you "DO NOT come in here." In fact, what was truly wrong was the cat that WAS drowning.

In case you didn't understand this; in short, this dream indicates some form of deceit. There is some bad energy that someone or something brings to you. Listen to your intuition; not by the way things appear, but by the qualities of their nature.

Never trust a glitch "in the matrix."

    Good luck.

  4. To see a black cat in your dream is a sign of approaching danger, but then again, a dream can be just a dream.

  6. The pool represents your emotions. There is a need for you to deal and understand these emotions. To see a cat in your dreams can have one of two meaning depending on your love or hate of cats in your waking life. If you dislike cats them they are a symbol of misfortune and possible treachery. If you are a fan of cats then they are more likely to represent an independence and creativity. The fact that you are observing the drowning cats may mean that you have got yourself involved in something and it has gone beyond your control or that you may feel that you are losing your own identity (perhaps your independence and/or creativity?). The fact that you were moving in slow motion signifies that you may be experiencing a hard and stressful time in your life at the moment. Your rescuing of the cats suggests that you are trying to  express a part of yourself that you feel has been neglected or ignored by yourself and/or others.

  7. Water in dreams has to do with emotions.  A pool is contained emotions.  Most likely you are being urged to rescue your inner feminine side.  I don't know if you are male or female, but we all have a masculine and feminine side - this has nothing to do with sexual preference, etc.
