  1. I've heard nurses tell me, "I barely studied for the boards and I've passed."  Truly, it's just people trying to be narcissistic and not giving themselves credit for all their hardwork...yeah, I guess pharmacology is natural intelligence *rolls eyes*.  I was a pretty lazy student but I managed to make good grades.  I studied my *** off everyday.  Not because I was scared of failing the boards but because I wanted to make sure I knew my material inside and out to make me a competent nurse.  Get yourself an nclex-pn book and it being 2008, I'm sure it will come with a disc with a practice test so you get a feeling of what it's like.  Take a breather, go over your old school notes and text books and just take time maybe an hour or two a day and study.

BTW, congrats on passing nursing school!!!  I hope you pass your boards.  We need great nurses!

  2. It has been a few years but..

I was only a C student, my final brought me up to a B and a lousy test taker.

That being said, if I recall correctly, my computer shut down after 35 minutes and the minimum questions.

    I passed.

When doing my RN, it went through all the questions. I passed.

If you have studied and taken some practice tests you will do good.

    Best wishes...
