Could someone answer my question about cameras?

You can buy a NEW one at Circuit city for the same price as there refurbished one.

I would say the camera itself looks decent. However, I agree with LEM - you should buy it elsewhere. The fact that the ebay posting has so many contradictions is sketchy. If you can get it at Amazon for 38 cents more then there's no reason not to.

The eBay description is very confusing and misleading.

It says SLR, but that camera is not an SLR, it's a point and shoot. It also lists it as "refurbished" in tech specs but as new elsewhere, etc.

Aside from that you can get it for for 36 cents more here:

... with guaranteed warranty, guaranteed to be new, solid return policy, etc. You can also get it directly from Adorama bypassing Amazon....

As to whether you want this camera, this is something you have to research and decide. It is a decent point and shoot, but depending on what you shoot and what you expect of the camera it may be a good fit for you or not... You didn't say what you need it for, so I can't answer that part of a question.
