Could someone explain the Verizon texting plans to me?

Here is my predicament :) My cousin is getting a phone and texting in 2 weeks. She will have Verizon also, so , are texts between Verizon phones free? So, could i just get the 50 texts a month and text her and they won't take any off? Thanks for your help!

There is no plan with 50 texts a month, the lowest one verizon has is the 5 dollar 250 text a month and that does not include the unlimited in plan, in order to do that you will need to purchase the 10 dollar one which gives you 500 all around texts and also the unlimited in.
