Question:

Could someone explain to me the chess arrangement, and what way the character can move.?

dont say like "rook 9, too knight 6" cause i wont have a clue what your talking about. mostly i just want to know what the startup arrangement is, piece names, and which way they can move. (like kights moving 3 squares or whatever)

  2. Bottom row - Rook(Castle) - Knight - Bishop - King - Queen - Bishop - Knight - Rook(Castle)

    2nd row - one Pawn in each space

    Rooks move in straight lines as far as they are unobstructed

    Knights can move up 2 squares and over 1 square and can jump other pieces

    Bishops can move diagonally as far as they are unobstructed

    Kings move 1 space in any direction

    Queens move in any direction as far as they want as long as there are no obstructions

    Pawns move 1 space forward (They can move 1 or 2 spaces forward on their first turn) and can only capture the other player's piece by moving diagonally 1 space.
