I am in the final stages of designing a parabolic heat collector with a radius of 4 to 6 feet. The ideas to gather as much heat as possible from the Sun and effect means of transforming into electric energy, but I am not sure that it will receive approval from the eco interests. Any way out? many thanks.

  1. The planning regulations in many councils state that if this going to be a permanent structure then you must have planning permission for any item built away from your dwelling on your own property. this is so it doesn't conflict with adjoining property's and upset your neighbours ,there is a benefit to mention if you produce more electricity that you require ,you can sell the electricity back to your electric company i dint know you would go about this but it would be worth investigation as it would pay for your works eventually ...hope this helps
