Could someone hack a digital camera

Question

I was just wondering is it possible for some random person to hack your digital camera and like see your pictures on it or pictures you have deleted? I have heard of people hacking their one cameras to make them better for like photography or whatever but is it possible for just some random person to hack into mine and see my pictures without them having it?

It's easier to physically remove the memory card and look at photos recorded on it instead. Deleted photos can easily be recovered with proper program.

Correct--unless they have your card to work with, they can't access it.

You know, there is such a thing as Wireless SD card. It transmits JPG files to a camera / computer. I am sure it's quite secure and not just anyone can receive the signal without proper set up / password. But to answer your question--no, unless you gave them your card.

to see you pics on you camera you need to have the camera or the memory card. there is no way to hack into a camera to see pics. the hacks you have heard about area firmware hack to enable some disabled features i have one for my 300D

The Canon EOS Digital Rebel has very similar hardware to the Canon EOS 10D (same sensor), but lacks many of the functions found in the 10D, like flash exposure compensation, mirror lock up, ISO 3200 speed setting etc.

Well, some enterprising people have found that many of the "missing functions" can be enabled by small modifications of the camera firmware. Now of course Canon do not approve of this and technically it may void the camera warranty if you upload non-Canon firmware,

No the others who have answered you are correct.  I work in a photo store and I do Image recovery for customers only when I have there memory card.
