"Axis"

One word

fatality,

cosmos,

intricacies and confusions

summed up.

Laughter of the gods,

the tears of Gaea,

can all be attributed;

one word

fatality.

Mark on the world,

fingerprint from heaven,

it remains

through our

second thermodynamic law

of self-destruction;

words don't

disintegrate.

One word

fatality,

joys and sorrows,

everything can be

blamed

on...

well?

  1. Another poem from your deep side.  This is as thought provoking as the other was.  So much so that I'm going to have to think about it for a while.  Great write.

  2. blame it on each moment.

thats all there seems to be..

i like how you open up the minds book

and go to pages rarely read.

  3. Ever so powerful.

You have sent me back to my solar physics. My muse is following your lead...

When the sun or the earth shifts on its axis it is a life changing event. The Sun's axis tilts almost 7.5 degrees out of perpendicular to Earth's orbital plane.

Earth's axis doesn't stand upright as as we orbit around the Sun, but that it's tilted about 23.5 degrees out of vertical.

    I love this poem.

    T.

  4. Life

  5. Fatality, one word.

Well, politicians use too many words, to say the same thing, amounts

    to, lies or nothing.

your poem says much with little, and could be with other thoughts

    then how I see it.

  6. Another very well written and thought provoking poem! Love it all, but the second stanza is my favorite. I can't help but re-read it over and over.
