It's red and green, about the size of my palm, the shell is hard

it looks like a pepper, but it's not B/C it came from a tree =\

I'm confused ^^;

will someone please tell me what this thing is???

Looks like a piece of plastic or imitation fruit to me!   Could be your friend is having a go !
