Could someone make a freeway legal 50cc motorcycle?

I thought maybe if you made it with full farings and turbocharged the heck out of the tiny engine, you might be able to get a fairly practical, fuel efficient, freeway capable machine.

  2. No just not going to happen. You are looking at land speed records in your other question and that is a different ball game. The record on bicycle is over a 100 and that was drafting behind a van. Mini bikes are way up there but no where near being able to be street legal. Just  for starters you can not see them over a fender

  4. no, it's just not practical to turbo-charge such a small capacity engine, & not safe to be buzzing about in the freeway with bigger, heavier monsters whizzing past you... they'll simply blow you away (literally)... :)
