Could someone please decipher this answer I received to another question?

I am pretty sure it was a typo.

I find typing difficult as I use a black keyboard in a dimly lit room and I often make mistakes. I try to catch them though.

I assume the can should be can't.

Methinks it's a typo... "can" should be "can't".  That makes a touch more sense.  The rest is just the answerer being cheeky.

To answer your question directly, I made a mistake. Typical of an atheist to make it a big deal. I should have said "can't". My apologies, and I hope you find it in your heart to forgive this transgression!

It is interesting and ironic to me that they so wanted to be right that they forgot to make sure their spiritual message was understood.
