Question:

Could someone please help me find out how I can lose weight?

I want to lose weight. I'm 5'2'' and weigh 135 pounds. I want to go down to about 110 or 115 pounds. What can I do?

I am on the swim team at my school, and we practice pretty much 5 days a week for about 90 minutes. Sometimes, we do weight training. I have no time to do any more exercises and stuff because of my schoolwork and other clubs.

As for what I eat. I drink water every day. NO soda whatsoever. I don't each white bread, white rice, etc. I eat plenty of fruits and veggies. My basic meal plan goes like this:

Breakfast:

-1 glass water

-1/2cup Activia light yogurt

-1/2cup Fiber One

-1 small apple

Snack:

-2 slices 100% whole wheat bread

-3/4cup whole grain cereal

Lunch:

-1 glass water

-1/2cup spinach

-1/2cup melon

-1 small apple

Snack:

-1 small apple

-2 slices of 100% whole wheat bread

-1 banana

Dinner:

-1 glass water

-1/2cup brown rice

-1/2cup lean (NO fat) protein or fish

-1cup cooked veggies

And I drink a few bottles of water during the day also.

What else can I do to lose weight?! I do get enough sleep as well. What can I do? Please help!

  1. it sounds like your weight might just be muscle, looking at your activity and your diet...I'm not sure what you could do about that...


  2. your diet seems okay how long have you been doing it? I would keep doing it for a couple more months if it doesnt change then change your routine. As for the sleepin habits try to get  on some sort of sleepin schdule it took a while for me to get on one but try to get at least 7 or 8 hours of sleep

    We don't want you not eating enough and unable to cancentrate.

    Really? That's what you eeat for lunch?

    Anyway. Swimming is amazing for your body and you're doing perfect with that.

    Are you trying to lose this weight in three weeks? Not going to happen. Losing weight takes time.

    You get sleep? That's good. The more you sleep, the more calories you burn.

    just give it some time and eat a bit more.

    And Good lord you are not really overweight for your size!

    I'm fifteen and I used to weigh 148 a year ago. It took me two months to lose it 'till I was 115.

    You really do need to drink more water, too.

    I'd say about five or six glasses a day.

  4. walk, don't take the elevater, park further away fron the store or school etc. than you normally do, walk around your neighborhood, walk, walk, walk, and dancing is good too, if you don't like to dance in front of people go to your room and lock the door and do what you feel like with music, jump up and down if you feel like it, just do it as long as you can, everytime you get a chance. hope this helps

  5. drinking lots of water is good try drinking more green tea, push ups and sit ups as many as you can and improve every day.
