  1. In order London-Birmingham-Leeds

  2. City Population

    London 7.2 Million

    Birmingham 992000

    Leeds 720000

  3. They are all in England,

    London, Birmingham, Manchester,

  4. London, Birmingham, Glasgow. Leeds having 720,000 is just ridiculous, they are obviously extending "Leeds" to cover Bradford and most of West Yorkshire to get that figure.

  5. 1.london 7 m+

    2.birmingham 1 m ( over 2m if you include the black country)

    3.glasgow 600,000

  6. London

    Edinburgh

    Birmingham

  7. It's London, Birminham and Manchester

    I hope it helps ;)

  8. London - Manchester -Birmingham

  9. London...Birmingham...Glasgow

  10. The precise definition of a city is variable - the City of London is only 1 square mile, while Greater London is 600 square miles, the City of Manchester is 44.7 square miles, Greater Manchester is 493 square miles, etc. Also remember that there's a whole band of cities across northern England which are basically all one built-up area with very little countryside between them, from Liverpool across to Leeds / Bradford.

Anyway, the populations of the greater areas as at the 2001 census were:

    London - 8,294,058

    Birmingham - 2,293,099

    Manchester - 1,741,961

Glasgow city was only 578,790, but the urban area is considerably larger.
