You're going to need an HD FTA receiver, a satellite dish, and possibly an 8psk module.

For US channels you'll probably want the Dish Network 1000 dish. It has 3 lnb's, and is generally used to get HD signals as well as regular.

The 8psk module allows you to receiver more HD channels with lower bandwidth. It also allows you to get MPEG-4 format.
