Could someone plz explain to me the midieval times. any info would be great.?

im writting a story

(its because i want to, not for school so dont think im asking for you to do my homework)

its set in the midieval times. id like to know some info.

how did ppl live?

what was ppls jobs?

how did the rulers act?

when exactly was this time (like what century)?

and also how did they talk (cause there will be dialog in my story)?

my focus is on the royalty so any info u have on king or queen would be great.

all info is acceptable.

Think Feudalism and you basically have it. King > Nobles > Vassals > Peasants. They all practically in debt to each other and exchanged service for service.

If you're writing a story, I wouldn't try to emulate medieval dialogue.  (Try and read some Chaucer for the feel.)  Just don't use any modern expressions!

The first rule of writing is to write about what you know.  If you don't already know how people lived or worked, how the rulers acted or how they spoke, it would seem to me that you won't be successful.  Put your story into a setting that is familiar to you and then you have a chance at being successful.
