  1. flying it only takes 1½hrs one way. check on Webjet for cheap fares and flight availability

  2. You would be really pushing to drive Sydney - Melbourne - Sydney in a day and even if you managed it, you wouldn't even have an hour in Melbourne before you'd have to leave to drive back to Sydney. Fuel and food would be expensive and a car would be less reliable than flying which is the only practical way to do the trip.

You can get cheap airfares for under $70 each way and the trip takes under 1 1/2 hours (in each direction).

  3. A plane. It's a short plane trip.

Very reliable. Your more likely to get killed by a zebra than die in a plane crash!

  4. With the current price of petrol, it would actually be cheaper to fly! In any case, only a lunatic would try and drive to Melbourne and back to Sydney in one day! What are you guys talking about!!!?? :)

  5. Plane would be the quickest way about 1 1/2 hrs, the cheapest would properly be driving, it took us 7 hours each way so if you are only staying a day it doesn't leave much time for other things.

  6. Definately plane.

If you go by Tiger alirlines you would probably be looking at $100 or less return.

  7. i think , you can drive like in a car . and you'll get back in one day ?

like im pretty sure you can  .

  8. the answer your problem is used the flying plane ( you know that )

  9. Plane.

Driving would take about 20 hours there and back altogether.
