The question is :

Solve the following without using calculator :

(squareroot3)^4

This stuff is actually related with INDICES , SURDS .. please solve and tell me hoe to do it ...

  1. (squareroot 3)^4

    = ( 3 ^ 1/2)^4

    = 3 ^ (1/2 x 4)

    = 3 ^ 2

    = 9


  2. [(3)^(1/2)]^4=3^(1/2*4)=3^2=9

  3. (√3)^4

    = [3^(1/2)]^4

    = 3^(4 * 1/2)

    = 3^(4/2)

    = 3^2

    = 9  

  4. =3*3

    =9

  5. first square root means to the power of 1/2

                                     =z^ac/b
