Could someone tell me if this is normal?

I gave birth to my baby girl 3 months ago. My first period finished last week Tuesday. My fiance and I had intercourse that Tuesday night only to find that the condom broke. I know it was unlikely to get pregnant right after finishing your period but to be sure we went ahead and got Plan B. I took the first pill 12 hrs after intercourse and then the 2nd 12hrs after the first. This morning I woke up and I am having another period one week after!! I don't know much about Plan B's but is this normal? I am going to my doctor today but I am too confused I wanted to get some answers from you guys.

*I thought I was bleeding as a side effect but it is still coming.

I've never taken plan B, but I've heard from other people that it throws their cycle off a bit.

try not to worry. I took Plan B many years ago adn had similar side effects. and that's probably what it is...Side Effects! Take a pregnancy test to b e sure...check with your doc as well, but I had bleeding for like 3 days + when I took it, similar to my period..

Yes it could cause period like bleeding.

Consider something a little more permanent like Mirena, it's an IUD that lasts for 5 years but you can have it removed at any time if you want more babies.

plan B is not birth control I suggest getting some it's cheaper you have a period cause the plan b plays with your hormones
