Could someone tell me what this is?

I've been trying to figure this out, and I cant... And its driving me crazy!! So, could someone please help me out?

Its a jungle cat, I THINK in the Amazon.....

It was on WildBoyz once (the TV show)

I think it is related to a Jaguar...

Its like a mini. Its just bigger then a house cat....

Its dark colored... And I dont remember if its stripped or spotted... or a mix of both?

And its name MIGHT start with an "L".

I know its not much to go on, but....

Ocelot, margay, jagurundi...all are smallish wildcats that live in Mexico or South America
