  1. Hooray Cokezero, you are smarter than the average bear.

Yes they will end up as the fourth riech.

    And sooner than most think.

We are facing almost identical problems that the world faced in the late 30's.

They will unite behind a strong leader, one that is a very strong Roman Catholic. My vote is Edmond Stoiber, the leader of Bavaria, and the personal choice of the present German Pope.

Why is it no one is scared shitieless that a German sits on the throne in Rome?

You are not a zero in my book, most have thier heads buried in the sand and will never ask "real" questions like this

  2. Doubtful.  The EU is an amalgamation of economies more so than a federal government.  Ultimate sovereignty is in the hands of national governments and the people.  Europe has been deeply scarred by wars for hundreds of years, the two world wars have deeply changed the way Europeans see the world and are no in the slightest expansionist as they once were.  Also the Fourth Reich was formed because of population boom, since European countries are at either at replacement birth rate or lower so there is no desperate need for land.  The EU also encourages diversity in all its forms.  It funds cultural programmes that may be overlooked by national funding, so Arianism or something to that affect isn't going to rear its ugly head, god willing.

And by the way for the answerer saying that we should be wary of a German Pope is not only insulting to Germans it is spiteful to Roman Catholics.

  3. No i don't think so although the EU is making its own military they are mainly organized only for peace keeping and stuff like that they don't plan to invade anyone like the US. All European country's are keeping there own Army's.

  4. They seem to have very little interest in military as long as the US is protecting them.  Who knows what the future will bring but I doubt it will be in my lifetime. (hopefully 40 more years)
