Question:

Could the Joker carry his own comic book?

In the 1970s, DC comics tried a Joker comic book which was a failure, despite having guest stars like Batman, Robin, Green Arrow, Black Canary, and even Sherlock Holmes. Given that the recent "Dark Knight" movie has brought a degree of public awareness about the Joker that hasn't existed since the 1987 "Batman" movie, do you think DC comics should give the Joker a second chance at his own on-going comic book, or do you think that the shrinking readership for comic books wouldn't support such a book? Best answer will be awarded based on your explanation for your yes or no answer, not how much you worship Heath Ledger.

  1. I believe it would be entertaining, but they would need a REALLY good writter.  Joker I can see having his own comic book since there are so many different elements about him he's clever and insane always a good mix for a reader.  But the thing is they would need a good writter so many comic have failed because of bad writters.   Blunt truth even Lex Luthor can carry his own comic with the right writter.  The joker has more fame however, which could start a decent fan base
