Could the Sony KDL-32D3000 TV output 5.1 Surround sound via its digital optical audio output? Thanks?

I would be plugging a PS3 and PC both via seperate HDMI connectors into the TV, then I wanted to output it all into a 5.1 system from the TV via the TV's digital optical audio output.

I would be using a 5.1 system which takes a digital optical audio input, such as the Logitech Z-5500.

I have heard that on other TV's it only outputs at 2.0 via its digital optical audio output, not 5.1 surround, can anyone confirm or deny 5.1 with this TV set?
