Question:

Could the Sooners' passing game be in trouble?

Bradford had a great season last year. However, not taking anything away from that, it was apparent that he struggled in high-pressure situations, particularly on the road. Now, with a season under his belt (and on film), just as with Colt McCoy a year ago, defenses will begin to pick apart his weaknesses and gameplan against them. But the bigger problem I see is at wide receiver. The Sooners always recruit well, but there seems to be a bit of a talent/experience void at WR this year. Who will draw coverages and stretch the defense? Who will be Bradford's go-to guy? The biggest thing they have going for them is their o-line - one of the best in the country. But overall it seems like this year's passing game could take a significant dive. Your Thoughts?

  1. I don't really know about their passing game, except for Bradford and his performance as a freshman speaks for itself. They have a very good defense and if the "O" can score a few points, put together a few long sustained drives, they should be okay. The Sooners will need a good defensive backfield because they will be going against some good passing teams, and some good option QB'S. If the offense doesn't lose any games for them with turnovers, the team should be sitting pretty for the most part and will be contender for the national championship.

    That being said, Hook "em!
