Well, the north pole will always be there as long as Earth turns.  Unless the whole planet gets so hot that rocks melt, then the north pole won't melt.

However, the ICE at the north pole could melt this summer.  There's a high probability that all the ice in the Arctic Ocean could melt this summer for the first time in human history.

you know if this global warming thing will continue, there will be a possibility that the north pole will melt this summer. unless all the people can find a way to lessen the use of chemicals or things that contribute to global warming we should be prepared to whatever may happen this summer.
