Could the our species survive on only 6 species of food?

Question

Could we suvive if only 6 species remained after global warming/pollution/nuclear war etc? I know it would be boring, but could we? Another way of looking at it would be to consider what species we would take with us on a 1000 year space flight that would have to be self sustainable. My nominations are chickens, wheat, canola (for oil), chinese cabbage, pumpkin, yeast (for bread, beer).

Our species can survive on Bread, cow, salad, tomato, mayonnaise, and cheese. That's the ingredient to make a bigmac.
