In addition to the recent heavy rains and levee breaks, could glacial retreat be an influence on the current condition in Iowa?

  1. Warming causes the glaciers to melt, around the Earth. That increases the flow to the sea, and evaporation increases as well. The weather patterns HAVE changed,bringing more precipitation to the Midwest for the past 20 years. This flood has been called a "1,000 year flood"! The one in 1993 was called the"100 year flood". What's next?
