  1. No. You need to follow your local laws though and get as much information and be as informed as possible so people don't try to tell you other than what is true. It all lies in your hands. ;)

  2. No they can't. However they might try to work with you.

For instance, a girl in my class was gonna be pulled out fully but the mother didn't have any interest in teaching Spanish or Math, so every day the girl comes into school for 6th and 7th period, for both classes.

  3. No.

  4. No.  They can try, and they can tell you that you can't, but you can.  As long as your mom follows the laws for your state, the school can't stop you.

  5. Not as long as you are following the laws for your state.

Here are the criteria states use for their homeschool requirements:

You can find the laws for your state at http://www.hslda.org

If you are concerned you will have legal trouble with the school, I would suggest becoming a member of HSLDA.

    Best wishes!

  6. No.   As long as your mom follows the legal procedure for registering you in your area.

It is completely legal to homeschool and to withdraw from school.   Each area will have it's own laws for registering the students once they leave the public school.
