Could the stairs be blocking my computer connection?

My dad rescently moved are Linkys Router to a spot under the stair way it my house. My computer has been SO slow lately i'm about to pull my hair out. Before however the router was in another room and everything was fine. The router is currently sitting on top of a t.v under the stairs. Could the stairs be blocking the connection?

It's not the stair that's blocking the connection it's the TV. It has interference that's why you're having issues. Try to move the router away from electronic devices.

If you can move the router to a different place that would be best. If not you can try to change the channel frequency on your router. Go to the router manufacturers website to find out how to access the configuration firmware. You usually enter an IP address in your browser and it accesses the router.
