Could the study of plants be classified as geology and biology or just biology?

I need to know if plants can be considered geology? Also how is pulling English Ivy related to science? Help, PLEASE!!!!!

plants can not be under geology because of two reasons,
one, is thatgeology is under physical science which tackles about non living things but ca be seen on earth
second, is that plants are under taxonomy not geology
