  1. Probably not...I think they get by Pompey with a win...Pompey was rubbish last week.  A draw maybe in Liverpool, a loss to Chelsea at the Bridge (b/c frankly, they just are a solid looking squad).  Finally, they have Bolton to finish Sept. which will be a win for them.

By May though, they'll certainly be in the top four.  They have the talent pool to win but maybe not to overcome a rough start to the beginning of the season.  Besides, it's not where you sit in Sept. that matters unless of course you were Derby County last year...it's where you sit in May that matters.

  2. draw-win-draw for UNITED, but what would be really nice would be boro fans supporting their own team for a change, out of all the fans in england you bunch have to be the most fickle, talk about sing when you're winning, ? what will be the record lowest crowd at the riverside this season ?

looks like sunderland newcastle and hull will have to represent the north east next season, and boro are a yorkshire club anyway, typical.

  3. they've definitely got a mountain to climb. lets not forget that they drew their first game of the season, and are currently 10th in the league!!!

  4. wishful thinking. Reckon Chelsea will beat them but Portsmouth and Liverpool are rubbish so probably not.

  5. hopefully...

  6. it would be funny.......

  7. Lets hope so.

  8. Boro have been constantly dissapointing the past few seasons.

to improve they need to do the "portsmouth" or the "man city" ie, get rid of some useless players and bring in new talent. what boro do is get players that will be useful in the future (5years or so) when they have a good academy. whta they should do is buy decent players and mix their line up with their quality academy players.

portsmouth and city were in relegation battles before and portsmouth went from a newly promoted team which was a favorite to go back down but persisted in the prem with good buys and shizz.

to beat good teams you need a good team

    Best answer pleeeease?

  9. Could you repost that question less cryptically?

  10. Nah I think that we could have a win over both Portsmouth and Liverpool and may manage a draw against Chelsea.

  11. has much as i would like to see it happen, i don't think it will, as you forgot to mention that they've got bolton at home on near the end of september, and stoke have some tough matches, so i think stoke will be bottom at the end of september, but who knows, man utd could be in the bottom 3 with them

  12. wishful thinking

chelsea wont lose and you will draw with liverpool
